The ‘Super Coupe Cup’ was a championship that ran from the mid 1990’s to 2003. It catered for many one-make championships that no longer had manufacturer support. The racing was as fierce as ever within the individual classes, and often between them.
The cars eligible included:
Renault 5 GT Turbo, Renault Clio 16v, Vauxhall Vectra V6, Honda CRX, Rover Tomcat, VW Polo G40, Rover 216, Proton, VW Vento.
We prepared all of the above cars during our time in the series, and are considered the most successful team in the championships’ history. We have fond memories of those days – The Super Coupe Cup should never have been allowed to fade away.
